What a week! It feels like progress has slowed a little. Time will tell, however.
I feel like i’ve clear a lot out of my body. The first 2 weeks I had wild dreams, almost every night, but my sleep has felt deeper and longer this last week.
I’m also not really feeling bad about not watching what i’m eating. My mind is clear and the weight keeps coming off. I do plan on cleaning things up as this project progresses. I am, after all, not just looking for mediocre results.
One thing I haven’t mentioned so far in this journey is the real reason I started. I will spill eventually, but I will tell you it wasn’t for the weight loss.
Embarking on a keto journey has been akin to setting sail into uncharted waters. With a mixture of excitement and trepidation, I decided to take the plunge. It’s been an enlightening three weeks of discovery, challenges, and, most importantly, delicious meals. Here’s a glimpse into my adventure so far.
Week 1: The Leap into Ketosis
The first week felt like stepping into a new world. I kicked off my journey with a mindset focused on health and wellness. Each morning began with a comforting cup of coffee, enhanced with a splash of heavy cream to ensure my energy levels were primed for the day ahead. Breakfasts were hearty, consisting of eggs and bacon, a combination that never failed to satisfy.
The challenge of adjusting to a keto diet was real. The cravings for carbs whispered temptations, but I found solace in keto-friendly alternatives like extra sharp Tillamook cheddar and pork meatballs. These small victories kept me on track, reinforcing my commitment to this new lifestyle.
Week 2: Navigating the Keto Wave
By the second week, I felt more confident in my keto journey. The initial adjustment period had passed, and I was starting to see and feel the differences. My meals were a delightful exploration of flavors and textures, from the rich creaminess of breve coffees to the satisfying crunch of salads.
I indulged in chili verde from Taco King, a keto-friendly option that became a fast favorite. Snacking on prosciutto wrapped in mozzarella offered a light yet energizing treat, proving that keto can be both delicious and fulfilling.
Week 3: Settling into the Keto Rhythm
Entering the third week, my keto journey had become a comfortable routine, yet each day brought new adventures. Breakfasts remained a staple start, providing a foundation of energy. The introduction of almond butter and refreshing lime Spindrifts added variety and excitement to my diet.
Lunches were simple yet satisfying, with single servings of Colby Jack cheese and small Caesar salads. The afternoons were brightened by tan mocha breves, a decadent treat that became a highlight of my days.
Dinners were hearty and nourishing, from all-natural pork meatballs to asada Caesar salads, each meal was a testament to the delicious possibilities within a keto diet.
Reflections on My Journey
As I reflect on the past three weeks, I’m amazed by the progress I’ve made and the lessons learned. The keto diet has not only changed how I eat but also how I view food and nutrition. It’s been a journey of self-discovery, discipline, and, most importantly, transformation. Like I said before, at the end of the journey i’ll talk a lot about why i did this, and it’s not the weightloss reasons.
To those also embarking on or considering a keto journey, I invite you to dive in. The challenges are real, but so are the rewards. Let’s support each other as we navigate the twists and turns of this exciting adventure together.
As I look forward to the weeks ahead, I’m filled with anticipation for the continued journey and the discoveries that await. Here’s to more keto successes, learning, and delicious meals!
