Today was pretty easy.
Years ago I tried going paleo; it worked really well for me. I stuck to it for at least 2 years before I slowly faded back into the land of hyper convenience.
I started out the morning with somewhere in the neighborhood of 3 cups of coffee, each with about 1/2oz of heavy cream in them. This was spread out between 6am and noon. For breakfast I had a left over 1/4lb hamburger patty with some cheddar on it, as well as 2 pork meatballs.
I headed south after breakfast to meet up with some friends and go snow machining (snowmobiling for those of you in most other places). It was a great sunny day with lots of fresh powder. On the way home I stopped in the town of Girdwood and picked up a 12oz breve for the remainder of the hour long drive home along beautiful Turnagain arm.
After getting home I snacked on a few Tillamook Colby jack single serving slices, as well as some left over mashed potatoes. I realized they weren’t Keto friendly, but I burned so many calories I didn’t care. I also hate wasting leftovers.
I then spent some time dipping my toes into the world of Keto, made a grocery list, and went to the store. Unfortunately, like the day before, I wasn’t thinking very far ahead and didn’t save the article to share with you.
My grocery shopping for the evening consisted of:
- Ground beef 90% lean
- Uncured, no sugar, bacon
- Premade all natural sausage meatballs
- A variety of cheese
- A caesar salad kit.
