I usually start my day around 5 am. Usually, this means getting up, drinking a glass of water, and logging in to do a little work for an hour or 2.
Along with keto, I’m attempting to restrict my calories. So I’m trying to start making coffee around 7am, and not eat until about 8:30 am.
This morning, I started with 2 single servings of cheddar cheese and decided to do 10 pushups. I made some coffee after that and had a 10oz cup with about 1/2oz of heavy cream in it. I grabbed 10g of raw mixed nuts before heading back to work.
For breakfast, I cooked 2 eggs and devoured 1/2 lb of uncured bacon. I washed it down with another cup of coffee with 1/2oz of heavy cream. The bacon was delicious, but I realize I should probably start consuming it in moderation.
I decided to read up a little more on keto, to start to diversify my diet a bit. I love savory food, so I may find this challenging.
I took a break around noon and did 10 more pushups, as well as ate a slice of cheddar and had another 10g of mixed nuts
I went out for a late lunch to Burger-Fi and ate a double bacon cheeseburger in a lettuce wrap. I’m still trying to cut out potatoes, but wasn’t successful. I ate 6 fries from my girlfriend’s meal. After lunch, I went to the coffee shop next door and got an iced americano. When I got home I did 10 more pushups and went back to work.
After work, I decided to cook up some of the meat I purchased. I made 1.25 lb. of taco meat and cooked a pound of sausage meatballs. I ate 3 of the meatballs and then later in the evening I ate about 1/4 lb. of the taco meat.
